John Dessauer has been a leader in global investment research for over 30 years.  During the 1980s and 90s, Mr. Dessauer was a regular panelist on Wall $treet Week with Louis Rukeyser. He is the author of two books on global investing and is widely acclaimed for his global, value-investing monthly newsletter, John Dessauer's Investor's World, which he wrote for more than 28 years.  He continues to share research, commentary, and advice through his current investment newsletter, John Dessauer’s Outlook.

Mr. Dessauer has run a billion dollar trust department and was Citibank's senior investment officer in Europe in the 1970s, where he was responsible for the private asset management business. During that time, he served on the investment policy committee of a German private bank.

Mr. Dessauer is known for his globe trotting, muddy boots approach to investment research. He prefers first hand information on what is happening in the world's economies. Mr. Dessauer is often interviewed and quoted in well-known financial publications, including Web based publications. In addition to investment research, he manages portfolios for private clients.
